Virtual Roadbook Competiton

Zagreb Winter Rally is a Roadbook challenge run exclusively on Roadbook app, spanning a 3-month timeframe. Riders have the flexibility to pick any day within the given period to tackle the route.

The tracks are similar to those of the standard Zagreb Rally but they can choose time and date, they can ride alone or in a group and they are on their own: there is no support (safety or recovery) so riders must take full responsibility for their own logistic and safety.

The start and finish of the Rally is in Zagreb.

Roadbook Navigation App Features

The roadbooks are distributed exclusively through the Terra Pirata app, which handles all race logistics, including:

• Digital Roadbook itself
• ODO, CAP, WP direction, Chronometer, Go to note…

• Waypoint opening and validation
• Speed Zones allerts
• Dangers warnings
• Entries/exits from neutralization zones
• Customizable cockpit

Scoring (with clear breakdowns of penalties) and rankings will also be accessible in the app. The app provides a transparent overview of results for each ride / competitor. The entry list of participants and final standings will be periodically updated on the official untamed.hr website.

Terra Pirata is already revolutionizing the world of rally racing. For years, we’ve been contributing to its development to help create a solution ideal for both professionals and beginners exploring rally racing for the first time.

The app is all-in-one for roadbook navigation. To get started, all you need is:

1. The Terra Pirata app on your device (smartphone or tablet).
2. A mount to attach the device to your handlebars.
3. A remote controller(s) to operate the device while riding (scrolling, screen switching, etc.).

The Route

The route is largely similar to the standard Zagreb Rally. Depending on on-the-ground conditions, updates from test riders (or even participants) might lead to adjustments in the roadbook or the route itself.

Within the 3-month period, minor variations in the route may occur. However, we’ll ensure the challenge remains consistent in terms of difficulty and length to guarantee fairness.

Keep in mind: Riders who tackle the route in better weather conditions or shortly after updates may have an advantage. Strategic planning is part of the game!

Safety and Recovery

In short: There’s no external support. You’re on your own, so plan accordingly.

• Ride in small groups when possible.
• Inform friends or family about your ride and carry a fully charged phone.
• Be prepared and ride safely.

• Three stickers for motorcycles and other gear (available for all finishers, to be collected at our Zagreb office).
• All necessary information, sent via email after registration.

How It Works

1. Register for the Zagreb Winter Rally (Virtual).
2. Carefully read all the details provided here and in the confirmation email.
3. Prepare your navigation setup if you haven’t already.
4. Test the app and your setup on the “UNTAMED RB Test” route available in Terra Pirata.
5. Ensure you start and finish the test route properly, and verify your results in the app.
6. When ready, go ride the rally! Follow the rules and review your results post-ride.

Note: The app functions almost flawlessly. If something seems off, it’s likely an error on your end. Test thoroughly and familiarize yourself with the app before racing.
