Program Overview
Friday: Arrival & Roadbook Basics
- Morning: Arrival at the camp, check-in, and introduction to rally navigation and roadbook symbols.
- Afternoon: Roadbook marking workshop, focusing on accuracy and understanding rally lexicon.
- Evening: Welcome briefing, camp introduction, and a discussion on rally safety, including the use of GPS devices and tracking systems.
Saturday: Roadbook Practice & Advanced Safety Systems
- Morning: Practical session on roadbook marking and interpretation. Introduction to rally-specific safety systems and the importance of preparation.
- Afternoon: Long practical ride to apply marking techniques and understand terrain types.
- Evening: Group analysis of the day’s ride, followed by a presentation on rider and vehicle safety gear.
Sunday: Rally Raid Rules & Strategy
- Morning: Deep dive into rally raid rules, regulations, and race strategies. Focus on understanding different rally formats.
- Afternoon: Ride focusing on applying rally rules in real situations. Decision-making under pressure and maintaining safety while navigating.
- Evening: Debrief, group discussion, and seminar on rally categories and selecting the right category for future participation.
Monday: Endurance & Marathon Stage Preparation
- Morning: Preparing for endurance challenges, including tips on stamina, fuel management, and pacing.
- Afternoon: Endurance ride, applying strategies learned and pushing stamina limits.
- Evening: Marathon stage debrief and strategy tips for handling long rally stages.
Tuesday: Final Ride & Wrap-up
- Morning: Last session, focusing on final adjustments and refining rally skills.
- Afternoon: Final ride, applying all strategies, safety protocols, and roadbook skills.
- Evening: Farewell dinner and final debrief. Review of the week’s lessons and plans for continued training.
